Job Title:  Senior Engineer-Application

Short Description

Job Responsibilities:

1.    To study and suggest design & application development as per the requirement of the customer, prepare the documentation and commission it within the TAT to the customer’s premises.
2.    To design the system architecture for high end automation application and to execute the same till commissioning is done.
3.    To provide application demo and pre-sales support to local sales representatives for selection of best configuration of automation hardware.
4.    To check the blue prints of the application project of the customers, keeping a check on the project execution in coordination with channel partner engineer.
5.    To provide technical support to end users, OEM customers and channel partners on phone / email/ visiting the site.
6.    To conduct training programs & technical presentation for customers.
7.    To do product demo- presentation, trials to customers.
8.    To coordination with internal departments of Omron to ensure the project application is executed and positioned effectively.
9.    Submission of monthly reports, success stories.

Job Location: Vadodara, Gujarat

Job Requirements:

Educational Qualification:
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in application programming is mandatory
- MBA or equivalent is desirable
 
Work Experience:
- Experience in installation & commissioning of servo systems.

- Experience in  Motion control Applications such as packagaing etc. 
- Experience on HMI, SCADA, PLC. 
- Knowledge of Industrial Networking and communications like Device Net, Modbus, Profi-bus, Profi-net, Ethernet, Ethercat etc.

Functional Competencies:
- Should have hands on knowledge of Motion Control Systems Vision Sensor, Machine Vision & Safety Solution.
- Should have thorough knowledge on PLC, HMI, SCADA & Servo.

Behavioural Competencies:
- Good Communication & Presentation skills with an eye for details. 
- Ability to handle multiple projects in same time, target oriented and dedicate extra hours if needed on assignments.

 - As per business needs.
