Short Description
Office Location: Engineering Innovation Hub, 6 Hassall Street, Parramatta NSW 2150.
About the role:
To drive sales and profit growth by providing product and service solutions, collaboration with internal stakeholders is essential to understand customer needs and develop new business opportunities. The goal is to achieve business sales, profit, and strategic targets.
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers, including End users, Consultants, System integrators, Switchboard builders, and OEMs.
- Identify and pursue new business or project opportunities, providing commercial and technical solutions to meet customer needs.
- Liaise with key stakeholders to deliver desired results.
- Generate new opportunities through marketing promotions, cold calling, and other outreach methods.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and competitors to effectively position our solutions.
- Prepare proposals, quotations and presentations for targeted customers.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss business opportunities, solutions, and new initiatives.
- Any other duties assigned by the manager
Whom we’re looking for:
This position is ideal for those who are passionate about sales and eager to build a strong foundation for the future:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Electrical trade qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience.
- Familiarity with PLC programming or automation systems.
- Proficient in Windows applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proactive and positive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively.
- Ability to connect with customers at all levels and build long-term relationships.
- This role requires being outside and engaging with clients in various locations. Willingness and ability to travel frequently for on-the-road sales activities.
