Short Description

 

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Work with the sales team, end-users and integrators to understand the customer's needs and requirements at a semi-technical level
  • Occasionally meet with customers to understand technical requirements on site, and assist Sales/Engineering teams
  • Pro-actively engaging with customers to drive continual sales, leads, and build long term relationships
  • Drive solutions using a wide range of Omron products such as Control systems, Components, Safety, Robotics and more, combining cross selling strategies as a one stop shop
  • Interact with various departments, such as Supply Chain, Accounts, Marketing and Engineering to facilitate key communications
  • Assist in reporting to various departments in the organisation

 

Key experience and capabilities:

We are looking for a high energy and motivated individual with a positive attitude to progress in their career in sales. Our ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in electrical/Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent is desirable
  • Sales or customer service experience would be advantageous
  • Positive attitude and proactive approach to uncover opportunities
  • Ability to work effectively, plan activities, and be a team player
  • Good communication skills- listen, verbal and written
