Industry Marketing Manager - Automotive (f/m/d)

Location:  Stuttgart Area


Purpose of this role

The Industry Marketing Manager, Automotive, ensures the development, execution, and coordination of marketing activities within the Automotive Industry. The role is responsible to build market knowledge, to generate awareness, to contribute to the definition of market solutions and to support reaching the organizations future revenue targets. You will be responsible for driving the Sales organizations in the selling process for Automotive and other associated segments. Furthermore, you will foster the usage and creation of value proposition and other necessary tools to penetrate the target industry ecosystem with associated machine builders, End-Users and SI.



Duties and accountability

  • Develop market analysis for the assigned industry
  • Contributes to the creation of an annual marketing plan, inclusive of strategies and key actions to fulfill, but also drives & delivers that plan to implement and promote the selected value propositions to the assigned market
  • Contributes to the definition of customer value chains in the assigned market
  • Investigate associated lobby associations related to target industry
  • Together with the marketing team, define and validate value propositions (solutions & benefits) using products, application software & services
  • Pro-active proposal of actions and support of sales and promotion activities. Whenever required, create and deliver content for campaigns and wide promotional usage
  • Apply transparent and appropriate internal communication about releases and planed industry collaterals
  • Delivers effective presentations in seminars or at key-customers


Desired Skills & Experience

  • University or Higher vocational education (Bachelor’s degree) with a minimum of 5 years of working experience
  • Experienced in the industrial automation market and solutions and familiar with the automotive industry
  • Knowledge and familiarity with the main B2B marketing techniques
  • Proven intercultural awareness
  • Proficient in English and German
  • Experienced in interacting with a sales organization and external customers
  • Able to assess priorities and deliver tangible results
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels
  • Driven to deliver on committed deadlines and follow necessary routine duties
  • Open minded, outspoken, and entrepreneurial
