Job Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
1.AXI (Automated X-ray Inspection), AOI (Automated optical inspection), and SPI (Solder Paste Inspection), machines System Optimization: 25%
1.1 SMT experience, inspection process experience, Omron or other inspection tuning experience, hardware maintenance experience, Windows OS knowledge
1.2 Analyze and optimize AOI, AXI & SPI machine settings and inspection algorithms to achieve accurate defect detection with minimum false calls
1.3 Setup, Installation and validation of AOI, AXI & SPI systems to ensure the quality and performance to complete the commissioning.
1.4 Stay updated with the latest advancements in AOI, AXI & SPI technology, industry trends, and best practices
1.5 Project management, communication and negotiation skills.
2.Customer Support: 25%
2.1 Serve as a technical point of contact for customers, addressing their enquiries, concerns, and providing solutions to technical challenges
2.2 Provide training and guidance to customers' technical teams on the setup, operation, and maintenance of AXI systems
3. Technical Support: 20%
3.1 Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support for AOI, AXI, and SPI systems, ensuring customer satisfaction and successful implementation.
4. Customer Training: 10%
4.1 Conduct training sessions for customers and internal teams on the operation and maintenance of AOI, AXI, and SPI equipment.
5. Troubleshooting: 10%
5.1 Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to inspection systems, providing timely solutions to minimize downtime.
6. Documentation: 10%
6.1 Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, application notes, and troubleshooting guides.
Job Requirements
- B.E. (candidate with Mechatronics specialization will be an added advantage)
- In-depth knowledge of application development methodologies and practices
- Minimum of 6 to 8 years of experience in SMT/THT Process with hands on AXI/AOI/SPI programming, installation & commissioning
- OMRON AOI/AXI product programming knowledge would be an added advantage
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and other departments
- Minimum of 6 - 8 years of experience in Industrial Automation organisation in a Technical profile
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure, target oriented and dedicate extra hours if needed on assignments
- Good Analytical skills and ability to use Microsoft Tools to analyse and prepare statistical information
