Short Description
Job Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of sales activities, including sales promotions, price and contract negotiations, timely delivery of goods, and addressing customer inquiries related to automotive products.
- Respond to customer inquiries about products, quotes, delivery, and Omron-related surveys (e.g., IMDS, PPAP, CMRT, RoHS/REACH), as well as quality issues, by closely collaborating with technical engineers in Japan.
- Promote Omron products in the automotive sector by providing technical support and training to a range of customers, including resellers, distributors, manufacturers' representatives, integrators, and end users, to enhance value.
- Regularly gather information about customers, industry trends, and competitor activities, and update this information on the designated platform.
- Implement sales strategies and plans to achieve both short-term and long-term business objectives.
- Negotiate prices with customers to ensure products are sold at competitive pricing while maintaining market share.
- Identify new growth areas and potential customers within specified regions. Collaborate with management and relevant departments to drive business development initiatives and marketing campaigns that contribute significantly to business expansion and long-term growth.
- Create accurate sales forecasts, annual budgets, and mid-term plans.
- Meet sales and profit targets for assigned geography and industries.
- Develop necessary tools to support promotional activities.
Job Requirements
- Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in electronic component sales.
- Experience managing regional business is a plus. - Professional Certification:
- Relevant business administration certification is a plus. - Product Experience:
- Experience with electronic components such as relays, switches, connectors, sensors, etc. - Industry Experience:
- A background in the electronics manufacturing industry is required.
- Experience in the automotive industry is a plus. - IT Skills and Literacy:
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications. - Travel Requirements:
- Domestic travel required for customer visits.
- Approximately 10% travel within the Asia Pacific region.
- A valid driver's license & Passport is desirable.
