Distribution Manager (Czechia & Slovakia)
About the Role
As a Distribution Manager you are responsible for developing and managing the distribution channel within the Czechia and Slovakia, ensuring sustainable growth, strong partnerships with key distributors, and alignment with the company’s commercial strategy. The role has a full local responsibility, ensuring that distribution strategies and agreements are effectively implemented within the country. As Distribution Manager you oversee sell-in agreements with major distributors, supervise pricing frameworks, and design and close growth incentive plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with key distributors, ensuring strong collaboration, long-term partnership development, and alignment with the company’s sales strategy.
- Negotiate, manage, and monitor sell-in agreements with major distributors, ensuring targets, terms, and commercial conditions are aligned with company objectives.
- Define and execute with local team the best action plan to support and increase the Distribution Sell out (including marketing actions, training, sales tool support, events, etc.)
- Supervise pricing agreements and commercial conditions with distributors, ensuring consistency with corporate pricing policies and market competitiveness.
- Design, implement, monitor, and close distributor growth incentive plans, ensuring clear targets, measurable KPIs, and proper financial control.
- Ensure accurate governance, transparency, and consistency of distribution data (sell-in, performance, incentives, and pricing), enabling reliable reporting and informed business decisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automation, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in B2B industrial sales.
- Good understanding of the distribution landscape in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
- Knowledge of industrial automation, control systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in Czech and English.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently within the region.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with distribution networks within the industrial automation sector.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales forecasting methodologies.
- Experience working with distributors, machine builders, system integrators, or manufacturing customers.
