Short Description
Job Responsibilities
1. Business Generation: 60%
1.1 Responsible to achieve sales and order booking targets in the assigned region alongwith the team
1.2 Prepare and implement business plans monthly, quarterly and annually
1.3 Responsible for managing GP target for the industry
1.4 Responsible for CRM and Account Management activity of the team and use these resources for planning and forecasting.
1.5 Responsible for conducting Tech days/Seminars at key customers.
1.6 Develop new customers in the assigned region
1.7 Planning and forecasting of sales on monthly / quarterly & yearly basis.
1.8 Increase in-house business shares in existing customers
2. Partner management/ Stake holder management: 25%
2.1 CP (Channel Partner) / System integrators / SOP (Solution partners)/ distributors management in consultation with Channel Management Department (CMD)
2.2 Develop & maintain good relationship with Customers (OEM -Original equipment manufacturers and End Users) and Channel Partners
3.Team Management: 10%
3.1. Responsible for performance of the team by monitoring / reviewing targets assigned to the team.
3.2. Develop the capability and skills of team members to enhance productivity of the team.
3.3. To retain high potential members via team engagement and recognition.
3.4 Provide leadership and guidance to the team members and communicate effectively.
4. Data Management and Analysis: 5%
4.1 Maintain and analyse industry specific data as per business needs.
4.2 Prepare various MIS reports, presentations, etc. as per requirements.
Job Requirements
B.E or B.Tech Graduate with Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Background.
Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial automation field.
Knowledge of automation / vision / safety / robotics/Sensors.
Desirable -
PGDM / MBA
With an experience of managing a team of 2 members or more
Good Communication including verbal and written English skills.
Sales aptitude (Sound market & industry knowledge / good communicator / negotiator / presentable / reporting & numeracy skills)
Leadership skills (To guide & lead team of different individuals)
Management Skills (Planning, Forecasting, strategizing, problem solving, decision making)
Requires frequent travelling in given region for customer / channel partner visit. 20% Travel as per business requirement
