Short Description

Job Responsibilities

1. Channel Partner Management: 60%

1.1 Meets assigned CP targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner account

1.2 Continuously monitor and conduct capability audits of channel partners, make timely recommendations and arrange for skill development training as per requirement.

1.3 Ensure implementation of Channel Strategies to drive the business growth.

1.4 Identify new CPs in the White space area in alignment with sales branch head and enrol them based on the technical and financial capability.

1.5 Conduct monthly PDCA Meetings along with Sales to ensure the Channel Partner achieves the Target and ensure the support given.

1.6 Coordinate with Sales and Marketing team for CP Promotional activities like Road shows, Technical webinars, Exhibition Participation etc

1.7 Co-ordinate with Marketing team to prepare the Joint Electronic data magazines(EDM) for promotional activities.

1.8 CP Target discussion along with Sales and timely signing of the CP agreements at the start of the Financial year.

1.9 Manage potential channel conflict with other partners while adhering strictly to organizational rules of channel engagement.

1.10 Encourage Channel Partners to enrol in Channel Finance Scheme and monitor the progress .

1.11 Support Channels with Web enquiries and ensure the timely closing of the enquiries

1.12 Ensure order booking and billing as per the required delivery dates for the channel partners.

1.13 Ensure SNM (slow non moving) Inventory reduction in a timely manner

1.14 Monthly / quarterly and yearly sales planning and forecasting

2. Account Receivable (AR)management: 10%

2.1 Timely sharing of AR Aging with respective CPs/Direct customers

2.2 Timely follow up with CPs to collect the payment as per the due date.

v Close coordination with direct customers and sales team to ensure Payment collection on time

2.3 Regular evaluation of Credit worthiness of the CP based on their financial and recommend for the Credit Limit.

3. Data Management and Analysis: 10%

3.1 Maintaining the Mis Reports as per the audit requirements.

3.2 Preparing the incentive workout for the Channel Partners on quarterly basis

3.3 Preparing the reports on Inventory Reduction on monthly Basis.

4. Team Management: 20%

4.1 Responsible for performance of the team by monitoring / reviewing targets assigned to the team.

4.2 Develop the capability and skills of team members to enhance productivity of the team.

4.3 To retain high potential members via team engagement and recognition.

Job Requirements

B.E ( or equivalent diploma)

MBA in Sales/Marketing - preferred

Minimum of 10+ years of experience of industrial automation in Channel Management profile

With an experience of managing a team of 3 members or more

Good Communication including verbal and written English skills.

Excellent Excel skills with good analytics

Strong presentation skills

Negotiation and influencing skills

Building Relationship

Time management

50% Travel is mandatory.
