Job Title:  Team Leader- Application

Short Description

Job Responsibilities:
1.    To study and suggest design & application development as per the requirement of the customer, prepare the documentation and commission it within the TAT to the customer’s premises.
2.    To design the system architecture for high end automation application and to execute the same till commissioning is done.
3.    To provide application demo and pre-sales support to local sales representatives for selection of best configuration of automation hardware.
4.    To check the blue prints of the application project of the customers, keeping a check on the project execution in coordination with channel partner engineer.
5.    To provide technical support to end users, OEM customers and channel partners on phone / email/ visiting the site.
6.    To conduct training programs & technical presentation for customers.
7.    To do product demo- presentation, trials to customers.
8.    To coordination with internal departments of Omron to ensure the project application is executed and positioned effectively.
9.    Submission of monthly reports, success stories.
10.    Responsible for team management.
11.    Responsible for performance monitoring and review of the team
12.    To identify training needs of the team in-line with the business application objectives.
13.    Responsible to develop action plans to enhance the performance and productivity of the team.
14.    To develop & maintain healthy relationship with System Integrators and Channel Partners.

Job Requirements:

Educational Qualification:
- B.E.  OR Equivalent in E&C, E&E and Mechatronics(Mandatory) /MBA (desirable)

Work Experience:
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in application programming of HMI, SCADA, PLC & Motion. 
- Experience in installation & commission of Vision sensor, Machine Vision & Safety System.
- Knowledge of Industrial Networking and communications like Device Net, Modbus, Profi-bus, Profi-net, Ethernet, Ethercat etc.
- Experience on Omron Automation products will be an added advantage
- Experience in Installation and commissioning of Robots and Safety solution is desirable

Functional Competencies:
- Knowledge of Vision Sensor, Machine Vision & Safety Solution, PLC, HMI, SCADA & Servo is mandatory

Behavioural Competencies:
- Good Communication & Presentation skills with an eye for details. 
- Ability to work under pressure, target oriented and dedicate extra hours if needed on assignments.
