Short Description

Job Responsibilities

1. Industry Business Acumen: 60%

1.1 Identify objectives and drive effective/ competitive industry strategies and action plans to achieve the sales, order booking and GP% targets

1.2 Collaborate with Branch Managers in establishing and implementing the sales strategies for the Industry

1.3 Achievement of Gross Profit (GP%) of the Industry.

1.4 New business creation (such as Engineering and Service business, Spec in activity for End users)

1.5 Responsible for implementing sales plans and monitoring on monthly, quarterly, annually basis

1.6 Speedy replication of successful projects across India

1.7 Maintain and develop relationship with the global industry team for the knowledge transfer and implementing success stories in India

 

2. Partner management/ Stake holder management: 20%

2.1 Actively involve in creating an ecosystem of Channel Partners/ System integrators / SOP (Solution partners)/ distributors in consultation with Branch manager and CMD.

2.2 Develop & maintain good relationship with existing Customers and Channel Partners

2.3 Develop and train the channel partners

2.4 Equip team members to manage customers

 

3. People Management: 20%

3.1Accomplishes industry sales objectives by detailed manpower planning as per business requirement. (Recruiting, selecting and Performance management)

3.2 Coaching and counselling the sales teams to align with industry strategies.

3.3 Driving team performance and providing feedback to the respective team leaders and Branch managers

3.4 Identifying the training and development needs of sales and industry team to enhance productivity of the team.

3.5 To retain high potential members via team engagement and recognition.

 

Job Requirements

B.E or equivalent or MBA is desirable

Experience - 15+ yrs. of experience in industrial automation sales domain.

Experience of managing a team of 3 members or more

Market/Customer/Competitor knowledge of region and industry within the industrial automation domain

Experience of minimum 5 years in Decision making role

 

Good Communication including verbal and written English skills.

Excellent presentation skills with a good command over power point presentation

Experience in latest industry trends

Candidate need to travel extensively across India.
