Short Description
Job Responsibilities
1. Business Strategy planning:
1.1 Assist the management in developing OMRON’s overall business strategy for driving growth in the Indian automation market.
1.2 Align processes, resource-planning and department goals with overall company strategy.
1.3 Construct forecasts and analytical models. Prepare financial statements in-line with the strategic intent and operational plans
1.4 Assist Top Management in developing and formulating the Company’s long and short term strategies.
1.5 Review periodically the existing strategic objectives and suggest necessary revisions to cope with new opportunities and developments.
1.6 Coordinate and follow up the timely preparation of the annual operating business plan and budget in conjunction with all departments. Ensure that such plans are in-line with the established Company’s strategy, and objectives.
1.7 Construct and review corporate level business plans.
2. Business Analysis and data management:
2.1 Coordinate and follow up the timely preparation of the forecasts and monthly reports in conjunction with all departments.
2.2 Monitor periodically (Monthly and Quarterly) the overall performance of various departments against approved operating business plan. Highlight, investigate any discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
2.3 Analyse the annual actual results of the Company’s operations versus the estimates of the plan and present it to company’s management with findings.
2.4 Plan and execute projects required to make improvements in processes.
2.5 Conduct market research and Analysis
Job Requirements
MBA (in Finance, Business Planning)
Minimum of 10+ years of relevant work experience in Business Analyst role
Experience in a corporate planning function of an organization
Minimum of 5 years in the sales function of the organization (Desirable)
High presentation skills on Microsoft PowerPoint
Communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work with people at all levels in the organisation
High analytical and problem solving skills
Expertise in managing complex data and systems
10% travel based on business needs.
