Short Description
The Associate – Sales is responsible for promoting and selling Omron Products to doctors, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies. The role focuses on building strong professional relationships with healthcare providers, increasing product awareness, and achieving sales targets within an assigned territory. Conducts product presentations, monitors market competition, and identifies opportunities to expand product awareness and distribution in hospitals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Promote company products to healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and hospitals, through visits/coverage.
- Plan and execute daily field visits to clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies. Maintain an updated customer database and visit reports.
- Build up and maintain a good business relationship between Omron and (potential) customers in the designated area.
- Perform business development by conducting market research to identify potential clients and generate new business leads.
- Support the sales/marketing team in executing marketing projects (medical conventions and hospital activities)
- Conducts product presentations and medical detailing to doctors, pharmacists, and hospital staff
- Maintain and grow the Market share for Omron Healthcare brands in the hospital segment
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, Life Sciences, Nursing, or Business
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in the pharmaceuticals or medical devices industry, covering hospitals, would be an added advantage
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Sales and negotiation ability
- Ability to work independently in a field-based role
