About the role:
The Senior Corporate Planning Manager leads and facilitates the development and execution of the EMEA business plan, ensuring strategic clarity, cross‑functional alignment, and disciplined execution. Through close collaboration with commercial, financial, legal supply‑chain, and global stakeholders, you will support sustainable sales growth, profitability, and resilient business performance across the region.
Key activities:
- Strategic & Financial Planning: You will contribute to the development of OMRON Healthcare EMEA’s annual, mid‑term, and long‑term business and financial plans, ensuring strong alignment with global strategy. In addition, you will support and coordinate key strategic planning cycles, including the annual budget process, quarterly performance reviews, and mid‑term strategy discussions.
- Performance Management & Insights: You will track strategic initiatives and performance metrics across EMEA, identify gaps, and drive corrective actions. In parallel, you will lead monthly and mid‑month reporting, providing clear insights and explanations to stakeholders and headquarters.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Business Partnering: You will act as a trusted partner to EMEA leadership, facilitating monthly Management Team meetings and driving follow‑up on priorities and actions. Additionally, you will support recurring business reviews with senior management, translating performance data into clear inputs for decision‑making.
- Governance & Compliance: You will ensure the consistent application of corporate management rules and governance standards across the EMEA region, supporting high levels of compliance, transparency, and effective business control.
Ideal candidates would have:
- Master's degree in business administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field, combined with strong commercial insight and solid knowledge of P&L, Balance Sheet, corporate finance, and consolidation
- Min 7 – 10 years relevant experience in strategic business planning across multiple EMEA markets, with the ability to translate strategy into tactical plans and detailed execution
- Commercial-driven and strong analytical capabilities with an excellent understanding of market research, data analysis, and business performance drivers
- Experience in FMCG or healthcare within a multinational environment is preferred
- Business & Governance Knowledge: Broad understanding of business operations and processes, with demonstrated knowledge of corporate governance and management rules
- Demonstrated organizational sensitivity, with the ability to navigate complex global structures and decision processes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to develop clear and impactful presentation materials, and to engage effectively with senior stakeholders across functions and cultures
- Professional fluency in English and Japanese is required (written and verbal)
