OMRON is now seeking a highly motivated IT Business Analyst who has very good knowledge and understanding of Sales Services & Marketing processes and of applications supporting those processes like CRM, CPQ, Case Management to join the OMCE IT Business Process Innovation department (BPI).
As Sales Services & Marketing IT Business Analyst you will act as the vital link between our business strategy and technology execution. You will immerse yourself in our Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service departments, driving process improvements and ensuring our core applications deliver maximum value.

Key Responsibilities
As BPI Sales Services & Marketing Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:
- Strategic Business Partnership:
- Serve as the strategic liaison between commercial business units (Sales, Services, Marketing, Customer Service) and IT to ensure technology roadmaps align with business goals.
- Proactively identify and champion opportunities for process automation and efficiency gains within our commercial operations.
- Solution Delivery & Project Execution:
- Translate complex business needs into clear, well-documented functional requirements, user stories, and process flows.
- Act as a key functional expert on projects, supporting all phases from initial analysis and design through to testing, training, and deployment.
- Collaborate closely with the business stakeholders, the IT development teams and external vendors to design and implement robust, scalable solutions.
- Possess the capability to lead and deliver small-to-medium scale system enhancements and IT initiatives from requirements through to implementation.
- Application Support & System Enhancement:
- Provide expert functional support for our core commercial applications (e.g. Salesforce CRM/CPQ) and their integrations, acting as the second level of support for complex issues.
- Provide hands-on administration of our business systems, including managing system configurations, performing regular maintenance, and developing solutions using low-code/no-code platforms.
- Investigate and perform root cause analysis of incidents, moving beyond simple fixes to recommend permanent solutions and systemic improvements.
- Follow change management best practices to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes by end-users.
What You'll Bring (Qualifications & Experience):
- Core Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT Business Analyst or a similar functional role, with proven experience in a digital transformation environment
- At least 3 years of hands-on functional experience with Business Applications supporting Sales Services.
- Demonstrated expertise and knowledge in Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service processes and best practices.
- Cross-application experience
- Experience with customer-facing systems is a plus, as the company is moving towards opening up more applications to customers
- Experience with emerging technologies, including Generative AI, is highly desirable
- Technical & Methodological Skills:
- Solid experience in process design, mapping, and change management.
- Functional knowledge of application integrations and data flows: familiarity with orchestration and integration cross applications and platforms is important.
- Proficiency with data query tools (e.g., SQL) and experience with BI software and data reporting.
- Knowledge of ITIL principles (Incident, Problem, Change Management) and project management methodologies.
- High proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
