OMRON is now recruiting for a highly motivated Legal Counsel to join our Legal Team.
You will be a part of OMRON´s EMEA Legal team which is located at its European Headquarters in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands. A dedicated Legal team supports three different Omron businesses consisting of more than 40 entities and branches in Europe, The Middle East, and Africa.
This role reports to SVP & Head of OMCE Legal, Risk& Compliance.
As Legal Counsel you will
• Advise on legal matters relevant to the business activities, including drafting and reviewing international contracts
• Independently advise on all matters related to employment and employee benefits from a legal point of view and assisting the HR departments on legal matters throughout the employment cycle from hiring to termination.
• Anticipate and advise on upcoming legislation relevant to Omron’s activities.
• Support various regional and corporate projects.
• Support and collaborate with other legal counsels related to their dedicated business areas.
Required Education and Qualifications
• University degree in Dutch law, approximately 3 years of (preferably international) working experience gained at a law firm, or as in-house legal counsel at another multinational; in relevant industries.
Required Specific Knowledge, Skills and Experience
• Experience in drafting and reviewing a broad range of commercial (international) agreements.
• Specialised knowledge regarding employment law.
• Proactive, accurate and strong analytical mind.
• Business acumen
• Enthusiastic team player with proper service attitude, down to earth, flexible but firm.
• Positive, energetic mindset.
• Fluent in Dutch and English. Additional languages (written and spoken) would be beneficial.
