IT Licence & Vendor Coordinator
Introduction
OMRON is seeking a highly motivated Licence & Vendor Coordinator to join the OMCE IT team.
Omron operates with a central IT team while outsourcing various IT functions. In this dynamic IT environment, the role requires overseeing IT coordination tasks, ensuring the administration and maintenance of hardware, software, and contract-related documentation. Additionally, the position involves procurement activities, including software licenses and end-user hardware acquisition, to support seamless IT operations.

As IT Licence & Vendor Coordinator, your responsibilities will be as below.
Vendor Management Coordination
- Research, evaluate, and select qualified IT vendors based on factors such as price, quality, service, and reliability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for the organization.
- Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or concerns.
Procurement Coordination
- Coordinate the procurement process from start to finish, including gathering requirements, obtaining quotes, and issuing purchase orders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement policies and procedures.
- Track orders and deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
- Resolve any discrepancies or issues related to orders or deliveries.
License Management
- Track and manage all software licenses across the organization.
- Ensure compliance with all software licensing agreements.
- Conduct regular software audits to identify any discrepancies or non-compliance issues.
- Complete team relevant starters/leavers activities for all business companies
IT Asset Management
- Coordination of PC Admin from start to finish, including ensuring asset registration and validation.
- Print management, including vendor and asset management.
Other
- Assist with special projects as needed.
- Provide support to internal stakeholders on IT procurement-related matters.
Required education, knowledge and experience
- Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Procurement, IT or Business Administration.
- Minimum 3 years relevant working experience in an international organization.
- Professional proficiency in English language
- Good understanding of software licensing models and regulations.
- Experience with software asset management tools and best practices.
- Ability to analyse complex licensing agreements and identify potential risks.
- Understanding of IT hardware, software, and services.
- Experience with procurement processes and contract negotiation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- ITIL or other relevant certifications (preferred).
- Work from OMRON Headquarters in Hoofddorp, Netherlands.
- The candidates must be eligible to work in The Netherlands.
