Your role as Finance & Commercial Support Officer:

As a Finance and Commercial Support Officer, you will oversee financial and administrative processes related to rebates in EMEA. You will serve as the primary contact for rebate administration and analysis. 

In this role, you'll be working closely with the commercial team to help manage rebate agreements and ensure the accuracy of rebate calculations, rebates accruals on the balance sheets. Your contribution will be crucial to keeping our rebates processes running smoothly and accurately.

 

Your Key Activities:

  • You will play a pivotal role in coordinating and administering our rebate agreements and ensuring their accuracy and compliance with audit requirements, as well as sharing with respective stakeholders (upon request)
  • Assist the commercial team by managing and implementing rebate agreements, including any system changes. You will review rebate calculations for accuracy and update as needed to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Conducts monthly reporting of rebates versus plans, analyses variances, collects insights, and takes the right actions toward different stakeholders based on their senses.
  • Responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the rebate accruals
  • Collects and manages customer invoices related to rebate accrual claims, verifying compliance with agreements, addressing disputes if needed, and ensuring proper coding and audit documentation.
  • Responsible for reviewing and addressing issues in Bank Statement Processing
  • Handle documentation and update standard rebate and standard rebate processes and procedures, ensure audit compliance, and communicate any changes to stakeholders while providing training when necessary.
  • Acts as the Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for the (financial) administration and analysis of rebates within the EMEA region towards different internal and external stakeholders.

 

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Intermediate vocational education or higher vocational education in Accounting Economics or another related field
  • 2-4 years of controlling experience related to sales processes/management.
  • Strong analytic skills, very thorough and a curious mindset
  • Good communication skills, pro-active attitude to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, capable of prioritizing multiple deliverables, and attention to detail.  
  • Good working knowledge of ERP systems (preferably JD Edwards)
  • Proficient in the English language, both written and verbal
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
