Job Title:  Vision Solution Expert

Short Description

Job Responsibilities: 
1.    To study and suggest design & application development as per the requirement of the customer. 
2.    To design the system architecture for high end automation application.
3.    To provide application demo and pre-sales support to local sales representatives for selection of best configuration of automation hardware.
4.    To check the blue prints of the application project of the customers.
5.    To provide pre-sales technical support to end users, OEM customers and channel partners on phone / email/ visiting the site.
6.    To conduct training programs & technical presentation for customers (end users, OEM customers and channel partners).
7.    To do product demo- presentation, trials / POC to customers. 
8.    Expertise in vision-related applications and systems.
9.    Hands-on experience in vision solution execution. 
10.    To coordinate with internal departments of Omron to ensure the project application is executed / demonstrated and positioned effectively.
11.    Submission of monthly reports and success stories.
12.    Participate in Industry related calls – understand, learn, implement and replicate the applications which are done elsewhere.
13.    To develop & maintain the technical competencies of System Integrators  and Channel Partners.
14.    Be an integral part of Sales team with technical expertise to ensure high winnability of enquiries; by minimising response time to address technical queries / issues.
15.    To leverage Application team (post-order, execution support) and Technical Expertise Centre teams based on the needs and actively coordinate to ensure smooth execution on winning of order.

Job Requirements:
Educational Qualification:
- B.E. OR Equivalent Diploma

Work Experience:
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in application programming, Experience in installation & commission of Vision sensor, Vision / OCR camera, Machine Vision & Safety System.
- Experience on HMI, SCADA, PLC & Motion (desirable) 
- Experience of Robotics application and programming  (desirable)
- Knowledge of Industrial Networking and communications like Device Net, Modbus, Profit-bus, Profit-net, Ethernet, Ethercat etc.

Functional Competencies:
- Experience in handling Vision Sensor, Machine Vision, Vision / OCR camera & Safety Solution is essential
- Good Communication & Presentation skills with an eye for details. 
- Ability to work under pressure, target oriented and dedicate extra hours if needed on assignments.

Behavioural Skills:
- Candidate need to spend max time On Field at customers

Travel Requirements:
- Candidate should willing to travel extensively across India.
