We are hiring an Area Sales Manager (Middle East) based in the Dubai office.
About the role:
In this role, you will be part of a commercial team. You will be responsible for strengthening the business growth by building strong relationships with our business partners and working closely with the Marketing team in analysing and measuring market share and business development, against key metrics of marketing & sales activities.
Your key activities:
- Responsible for the rest of the Gulf (Excluding UAE and KSA) and the Levant countries’ business.
- Building strong relationships with our business partners (BPs).
- Execute field visits to analyze performance evaluation, opportunities & threats, and recommended actionable strategies.
- Organize & coordinate annual trade plans, promotions, marketing activities with business partners and OMRON Marketing team to ensure optimal execution and the best customer & consumer experience.
- Tracking and improving market share, penetration, and distribution performance.
- Seek business development and Go-To Market opportunities in related markets.
- Lead regular sales evaluation & planning meetings with distributors.
- Coordinate the BPs marketing team for the creation of POS materials, targeting, and execution control of trade marketing activities.
- Represent OMRON at external events such as pharmacy exhibitions and medical congresses to increase brand awareness, educate the market, and gather market & competitor information.
To be succeed in the role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of business administration, engineering or related departments of prominent universities
- 7+ years relevant sales experience in preferably the FMCG or Healthcare sector
- Trade marketing experience in a multinational company is a plus
- Pharmacy channel management is a plus
- Having a multi-disciplinary perspective and being self-motivated.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Negotiation skills with strong analytical thinking.
- Having a driving license
