Repair Technician
Are you a hands-on problem solver with a passion for technology? As a Repair Technician at our European Product Care Center (EPCC), you will analyse and repair electronic and mechanical products such as PLCs, HMIs, and IPCs. Using technical schematics and documentation, you identify the root cause of issues, carry out component-level repairs, and ensure your work is properly documented in repair reports.
Your responsibilities will be as follows:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues on products received in the repair center.
- Perform repairs at component level, ensuring proper use of spare parts, tools, and equipment within defined lead times.
- Prepare and maintain accurate repair documentation, including reports and quotations.
- Record activities in CRM and other EPCC systems to ensure traceability.
- Report recurring defects and product issues to quality control and engineering.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the EPCC EMEA team to share knowledge and support joint projects.
Who are you?
- You have completed an apprenticeship (MBO or equivalent) in mechanics, electronics, or electrical engineering, with solid practical experience.
- You bring experience in hardware maintenance and repair, and fault-finding down to component level.
- You may have programming knowledge in robotics or PLC systems, which is a plus.
- You communicate well and enjoy working with colleagues across Europe and beyond.
- You are fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch is an advantage.
