Job Title: Project Lead

For Omron Manufacturing in Den Bosch, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager Product Life Cycle Management with a strong background in a manufacturing environment. In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams consisting of members from quality, engineering, purchasing, supply chain, production planning and production. You will be responsible for the successful preparation, development, and implementation of projects within agreed quality, budget, and time requirements. You will report directly to the General Manager.
Role and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the successful delivery of cross-functional projects in close collaboration with relevant functional departments.
- Create clear, professional project plans and manage them effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build and maintain productive business relationships with global and local stakeholders, both internal and external, including contract manufacturing partners.
- Prepare investment plans in cooperation with the Business Controlling department to support make-or-buy decisions for new products, equipment, and services.
- Act as a strong communicator by providing clear and timely project status updates and reporting on progress and deliverables to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering & Management or a comparable field.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in an international manufacturing environment, preferably including assembly operations.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering cross-functional projects with significant business impact.
- Strong project management and team-building skills, with high organizational and cultural sensitivity in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good command of the English language (mandatory) and Dutch (highly preferred), both spoken and written.
- You already live in the Netherlands, preferably in the Den Bosch area.
