Job Title: Project Lead EMS

For our Factory in Den Bosch, we are looking for an experienced Project Lead who loves leading multi-disciplinary teams. Primarily, you will be developing our EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Service) portfolio as supporting the factory on make -or buy decisions. Secondly, supporting our portfolio of products manufactured at Den Bosch. You will be accountable for the full product lifetime cycle, production preparation, production launch and further optimization. In this role you will be the bridge between R&D, local Engineering, EMS and/or local manufacturing, quality and supply chain. You get energized on running key projects and delivering them according to plan (timing, budget, quality).
Role and responsibilities
- You will be developing our EMS portfolio.
- You manage and build strong relationships between global, local stakeholders and EMS partners.
- You will prepare business plans and support in make or buy decision for new products and services.
- You will be responsible for leading multi-disciplinary teams to drive our portfolio including phase-in phase-out projects.
- You will lead QCD improvements of our local business.
- You create effective and professional project plans and manage them accordingly.
- You are a communicator by heart; reporting on projects status and deliverables to provide internal and external stakeholders insight into a project’s progress and results.
About what you must have
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering & management.
- At least 5 years relevant work experience in the Netherlands as project manager, lead engineer, leading multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience working in an international manufacturing assembly environment.
- Experience working with EMS partners.
- Methodical in your approach, with excellent judgment and good communication skills.
- Good understanding of the English (mandatory) and Dutch language (preferred), both in speaking and writing.
- You already live in the Netherlands, preferably in the Den Bosch area.
About what you preferable have
- Experience with support in business development, setting up business cases.
- Experience in working with other cultures and different time zones.
- Experience in a technical production environment with electronic components, SMT, PCB.
