About the role

The role is a perfect opportunity for a sales professional with great electrical/ mechatronics knowledge and is passionate about sales.  

 

As an integral member of our sales team, you will be required to maintain and develop existing customer data base, comprised of End users, Consultants, System Integrators, Switchboard builders and OEMs. 

 

You'll report to the NZ Sales Team Leader and work in a goal orientated team to achieve business and personal KPI's. Including participating in frequent meetings to discuss sales, opportunities, new initiatives, products and team KPI's.  

 

Working within a team environment to generate business opportunities, solutions, and new initiatives. 

 

Target potential accounts within the Canterbury region and work a minimum of 40 hours per week.  

 

Uncover new business opportunities and providing commercial and technical solutions to address customers' needs. Liaising with key stakeholders to deliver desired results.  

 

Whom we’re looking for:

This position is particularly suited to those who are passionate about technology and develop new business relationship to uncover new opportunities:  

  • A degree in Engineering or Electrical trade qualification; Sales or customer service experience would be advantageous. 
  • At least a minimum of 5 years working experience.  
  • An effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills.  
  • The ability to negotiate and influence to achieve positive outcomes. 
  • A team player with proven success in building effective relationships with key stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Ability to communicate with a range of customers at all levels.  
  • Proven knowledge and experience of electrical products and solutions.
