Job Title: Regional IT Manager – Global Digital Transformation Partner
Location: Slovakia
Role Summary
The Regional IT Manager serves as a strategic business partner to the regional leadership team while acting as a key enabler of the company’s global IT/Digital Transformation (DX) strategy. This role is responsible for driving regional adoption and execution of global IT standards, platforms, and initiatives to support the successful separation from Omron and the long-term growth of Aratas Corporation.
The ideal candidate combines strong operational leadership with the ability to align regional business priorities to global architecture, governance, and transformation objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Global Strategy Execution & Alignment
- Translate and execute the global IT/DX strategy and roadmap within the region
- Ensure regional IT initiatives are aligned with global standards, platforms, and priorities
- Act as the regional champion for global programs (e.g., cloud migration, data platforms, cybersecurity, ERP strategy, etc.)
- Participate in global IT/DX governance, councils, and decision-making forums
- Drive adoption of standardized business processes, platforms, and data governance practices across the region.
Regional IT Leadership & Operations
- Lead day-to-day IT operations, service delivery, and support for the region
- Manage regional IT budget, vendors, and resources effectively
- Ensure high-quality IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and compliance
- Drive continuous improvement in IT service levels and user experience
- Support business continuity, disaster recovery, and operational risk management activities.
Business Partnership & Transformation
- Partner closely with regional business leaders to identify and deliver digital initiatives that drive business value
- Support regional M&A/integration, carve-out, and transformation projects
- Act as the bridge between local business needs and global IT/DX capabilities
Talent & Organization
- Build and develop a high-performing regional IT team
- Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and collaboration with global teams
Key Success Metrics
- Successful execution of global IT/DX roadmap milestones in the region
- High regional stakeholder satisfaction with IT services and strategic support
- On-time and on-budget delivery of key transformation projects
- Compliance with global cybersecurity, architecture, and governance standards
- Talent development and retention within the regional IT team
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 4–5 years in a leadership role
- Strong hands-on experience with enterprise systems, including:
- ERP platforms (Preferred: SAP and/or JD Edwards)
- CRM platforms (Salesforce)
- Modern data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, or similar)
- Integration tools and strategies (middleware, APIs, iPaaS, and automation frameworks)
- Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes in a global manufacturing and distribution environment
- Proven experience leading IT-enabled business transformation initiatives, including process standardization, BPR, and global template deployment.
- Strong experience with data-driven management, analytics, business intelligence, data governance, and master data management initiatives.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, cloud technologies, and IT service management.
- Proven experience operating in a global/matrix environment with both local accountability and global alignment
- Solid knowledge of cybersecurity, IT risk management, business continuity, identity and access management, incident response, and vendor risk management.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP, Salesforce Administrator/Architect, SAP certifications, or equivalent)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (ability to work effectively with global, regional, and Japanese leadership)
Preferred:
- Experience in PE-backed or post-M&A environments
- Background in industrial/electronics/components industry
