Job Title:  Product Marketing Manager Mobile Robotics

As a Product Marketing Manager for Mobile Robotics in the EMEA area, you will be a member of the EMEA Robotics Marketing team and will report directly to the Robotics Product Marketing Manager. Your primary responsibility is to develop, execute, and drive a Product Marketing Strategy that is consistent with the Global Robotics Business (IAB) Strategy. Due to the importance of accomplishing expected high sales growth by establishing and organizing demand-generation activities, this function requires excellent interpersonal skills as well as a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include:  

• The Product Marketing Manager identifies market trends, and market needs, and then proposes / defines market approach and strategies based on overall business strategy
• The Product Marketing Manager is the interface to the European sales colleagues to communicate the Robotics Marketing strategy & explain the advantages of OMRON robotic solution
• The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for communication and cooperation with several stakeholders in the Business Unit (OMRON Robotics Technologies) to be able to manage the entire cycle of the product in charge, from roadmap, specifications prior to the release, to the end of life of the product
• The Product Marketing Manager should define the market position and concept of the new product to be introduced, arrange for Sales Promotion materials, Documentation, training, etc.
• Conducts pricing analyses and promotions for phase in/out products

Who are you?

• You have at least 5 years of working experience within high technology industry, preferably robotics
• Technical experience and background in Mobile Robots
• Experience in Sales, Marketing or Product Management
• Multi-lingual skills with English as prerequisite. Any additional language is a plus
• People motivation skills necessary and the ability to communicate with any person at any level
• Must have an eye to what is core and basic, a self-initiator/starter, analytical & representative
• Experience and knowledge of the Automation business
• Eligible to work freely within the European Union
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally
