Short Description

Job Responsibilities

- Manage all aspects of the channel sales activities: sales promotion, price and contract negotiation, goods on time delivery, attending customers enquiries etc.

- Handle and answer to customers’ enquiries about the products, quotation, delivery, Omron products related survey (e.g. CMRT, RoHS/REACH), quality issue etc.

- Promote (design-in / spec-in) Omron products and providing training to customers (not limited to reseller, distributor and manufacturer representatives, integrators, and end-users).

- Obtain information of customers, industries/markets/competitors movement etc, from time to time. Update the information to the platform provided.

- Execute sales strategy and planning to achieve both short-term and long-term business targets.

- Price negotiation with customers to sell product at the right price with right market share.

- Identify new growth areas (or customers) within defined regions. In collaboration with management and relevant departments to drive business development initiatives and marketing campaigns to expand business. Ensure these opportunities provide meaningful contribution to the business, and help drive long-term growth plans.

- Make accurate sales forecast/estimation, yearly budget and mid-term plan.

- Achieve sales and profit targets for defined geography/industries.

 

Job Requirements

- Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering or relevant discipline + minimum 3-8 years working experience in electronic component feild sales.

-Understanding of distributor sales channel. Experience in handling south india regional business is a plus.

- Professional Certification: Relevant professional business administration certification is a plus.

- Product experience: Semiconductors, ICs, Power Supply, Microcontroller, Resistors, Capacitors, Connectors, Relays, Switches,  Sensors etc

- Industry experience: Experience in electronics manufacturing industry. Experience in automotive industry is a plus.

- IT skill and literacy: Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office Applications

Travelling Requirements:

- Domestic travel for customer visiting

- 10% travel within Asia Pacific

- Possess driving license is desirable
