Short Description

Job Responsibilities

- Support sales strategy and execution plans to achieve both short-term and long-term business targets.

- Manage all aspects of the sales process: territory growth strategy, sales coverage, pipelines and contract negotiation. Achieve sales and profit targets for defined geography.

- Identify new growth areas within defined regions. In collaboration with management and relevant departments, drive business development initiatives and marketing campaigns to expand OMRON’s Electronic Components business. Ensure that these opportunities provide meaningful contribution to the business, and help drive long-term growth plans.

- Supply product information to selected customers in an assigned territory and/or arranges for business analyses of customer's business communication requirements and develops benchmark demonstrations, proposals and value propositions that exceed customers' requirements resulting in the development of new customers and retention of existing accounts.

- Build and maintain pipeline of business opportunities.

- Develop trusted advisor status with top-tier accounts to establish strong communication channels that can be leveraged to seek new opportunities. Work closely with clients to identify unresolved client needs, and maintain a high degree of customer satisfaction.

- Collaborate with relevant departments to assure attainment of monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets; exceed customer expectations and improve overall business processes.

Job Requirements

- Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering or relevant discipline + minimum 6-8 years working experience in sales/marketing in electronic component business, OR, Diploma in Electronic Engineering or relevant discipline + minimum 8-10 years working experience in sales/marketing in electronic component business may be considered.

Experience in handling regional business or global business is a plus.

- Professional Certification: Relevant professional business administration certification is a plus.

- Product experience: Experience with electronic components (relays, switches connectors, sensors etc.).

- Industry experience: Experience in electronics manufacturing industry. Experience in automotive industry is a plus.

- IT skill and literacy: Computer literate and familiar with Microsoft Office Applications

Travelling Requirements: Domestic/Regional travel for customer visiting
