Short Description

Job Responsibilities

1. Inventory Planning & Purchase Management (40%)
1.1 Forecast inventory requirements based on sales trends, historical demand patterns, and lead times.
1.2 Optimize inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and excess inventory.
1.3 Implement inventory control procedures to minimize shrinkage and improve inventory turnover.
1.4 Maintain accurate inventory records and transactions in ERP systems (JDE, Kinaxis, or other inventory management systems).
1.5 Monitor inventory performance and recommend corrective actions for slow-moving and aging stock.

2. Factory Coordination (25%)
2.1 Monitor regular supply schedules from factories and follow up on delayed deliveries.
2.2 Coordinate with factories to expedite urgent material requirements.
2.3 Follow up with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely order fulfillment.
2.4 Monitor purchase order and delivery status, proactively resolving delays and discrepancies.
2.5 Facilitate effective communication between factories, suppliers, logistics teams, and internal departments.

3. Coordination with Sales & Product Teams (25%)
3.1 Collaborate with Sales and Product Management teams to understand demand forecasts and special customer requirements.
3.2 Provide real-time updates on inventory availability, delivery schedules, and order status.
3.3 Support promotional activities and new product launches by ensuring adequate inventory availability.
3.4 Address customer and internal stakeholder inquiries related to inventory, order fulfillment, and delivery timelines.
3.5 Align inventory and supply plans with business requirements to maintain desired service levels.

4. MIS & Reporting (5%)
4.1 Prepare and analyze the Inventory Aging Report on a monthly basis.
4.2 Generate and review the Stock-Out Report to identify supply gaps and improvement opportunities.
4.3 Monitor and report Open Purchase Orders and their status.
4.4 Track and report long-pending confirmations from factories.
4.5 Prepare inventory and supply chain performance reports for management review.

Job Requirements

- Minimum 6 to 8 Years of experience in Inventory planning and control. 
- Graduation in any stream : Preferably worked in Inventory planning and control job profile. 
- Familiarity with demand planning or supply chain analytics with focus on cost, time, and process improvements
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (Oracle-JDE / Kinaxis preferred)
- Hands-on experience in inventory planning and control.
