Short Description

Job Responsibilities

Develop Automation and IIOT (Industrial IOT) Solutions:
- Assist application team to prepare feasibility and evaluation report for the required solution.
- Programming and developing function blocks for Automation & IIOT solutions as per the requirement.
- Explore and innovate the usage of Automation and IIOT related product’s features / functions and share the technical notes across the team members.
Technical Support to Internal & External team:
- Identify root cause of hardware and software issues by analyzing the solution provided.
- Execute the troubleshooting (software, mechanical & Electrical) for Automation and IIOT related application issues and maintain the documentation of troubleshooting procedures.
- Consult and support complex and challenging applications at customer’s site as required.
- Provide feedback to Global team on our products such as reporting bugs/issues, making suggestions for enhancements and new products.
- Conduct OJT (On the Job Training) for internal and external stakeholders and maintain the training documentation.
- Contribute towards trade shows and road shows by managing setups/ equipment's
ATC (Automation Centre) Enhancement and support:
- Preparation and support to conduct and manage customer presentations at ATC.
- Support to upkeep and enhance Automation & IIOT related setup and lab at ATC.
- Timely submission of monthly activity reports, success stories for internal team.

Job Requirements:

Educational Qualification:

-B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech/ any Equivalent Diploma

Work Experience:
- Minimum 07 years of experience of demonstrated PLC & IIoT related application programming & developing solutions.
- Experience 07 years on PLC, HMI, SCADA, IoT & software related application programming & Commissioning

Functional Skills:
- Knowledge of PLC, HMI, SCACA interface (hardware, software), and basic motion. Knowledge of Function block development.
- Knowledge of Industrial protocols like EtherCAT, EtherNET/IP, PROFIBUS, OPC-UA, MQTTS, HTTPS, TSN, etc.
- Programming knowledge with VB.NET/C#.NET/Python/Java/Node.js, SQL/Azure/AWS etc. will be an added advantage
- Know-how of standards like PLC Open, pack ML and current I4.0 trends like Smart factory, IIoT, cybersecurity & networks

Behavioral Skills:
- Strong analytical, innovative and problem-solving abilities.
- Good verbal and written English communication.

Travel:
- Travel required as per business purpose
