We’re seeking a passionate, sociable, and enthusiastic Sales Engineer to be part of our team committed to empowering people through automation and robotics. 
Reporting to Sales Team Leader, the successful applicant will play a key role in shaping the future of our sales team by providing product & service solutions to our customers, collaborate closely with sales and engineering teams. This role involves understanding customer needs, offer technical solutions and the ability to drive sales growth and develop new business opportunities.

About the role:
To drive growth in existing and new customer bases to achieve sales, profit, and strategic targets.

  • Maintain and develop relationship with existing customers, including End users, Consultants, System integrators, Switchboard builders, and OEMs.
  • Identify and pursue new business or project opportunities, providing commercial and technical solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to deliver desired results.
  • Generate new opportunities through marketing promotions, cold calling, and other outreach methods.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and competitors to effectively position our solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations and presentations for targeted customers.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss business opportunities, solutions, and new initiatives.
  • Any other duties assigned by the manager.

 

Whom we’re looking for: 
This position is particularly suited to those has passion on sales and develop a strong foundation for the future: 

  • A degree in Engineering or Electrical trade qualification; Sales, Engineer or customer service experience would be advantageous
  • Proactive and positive attitude
  • An effective communicator with strong written and verbal skills. The ability to negotiate and influence to achieve positive outcomes
  • Ability to communicate with customers at all levels and build relationships over time and distance
