Inclusion at the Workplace

OMRON is actively creating an environment and framework that encourages all employees to unleash their passion along with individual abilities & create innovation by bringing diverse personalities together. Here, everybody's given equal opportunities without regard to nationality, religion, marital status, gender, sexual orientation or gender identity, disability, or other attributes. One of the Non-Financial Goals (a part of the company's long-term vision) is to "realize employment of persons with disabilities at 28 overseas sites and maintain the ratio of employees with disabilities at 3% in Japan.

OMRON has successfully achieved its target of 18% representation of women in managerial roles globally, surpassing the goal set for FY24 well ahead of schedule. This accomplishment serves as inspiration for us to set even higher goals.

Inclusion at Workplace

Believing in the motto “No charity, but a chance!", OMRON has been sincerely working towards expanding employment of specially-abled people at its manufacturing plants. OMRON Taiyo, OMRON Kyoto Taiyo, and OMRON Manufacturing Indonesia are the prime examples of this belief. The facilities are setting new milestones in maintaining quality, cost, and delivery to the satisfaction of the customers. The Ratio of employees with disabilities stands at 3.0% (OMRON Group in Japan, Integrated Report 2021).

Equality at Workplace

Through initiatives like career trainings, skill development programs, mid-career hires, networking opportunities, and flexible workstyles etc., OMRON is moving towards its aim of achieving 8% ratio of women in managerial roles.

As a result, OMRON has achieved a Gold Standard Workplace, the highest evaluation under the PRIDE Index1 by work with Pride, for the 5th consecutive year.
